Butterball Turkey Solutions
"Thanks to optimal growing conditions in many parts of the U.S. this summer, a 'bumper corp' of corn is expected throughout the 2007 growing season, according to St. Lewis-based National Corn Growers Association and various industry economists.
An ample supply of corn meal could make conditions ripe for optimal turkey harvesting. However, the good news is tempered by one development: as more corn is planted (chiefly to serve the ethanol market demand), less land is being devoted to grow soybeans. And soy meal is an instrumental feedstock in turkey processing."
